Downloading apps

Hi all,
I want to download the windows phone apps in my pc then transfer it to my phone. because these times my phone has no net connection.
Is it possible to download windows phone apps on my pc then transfer it to my phone?

depends on your phone? does it have take sd cards? if not then you can't, but you can install it from the online market place. but i think you still need internet to install them
