EA's Origin on SP3 core i7 issues . . .

Hello

I have an SP3 with core i7 8GB ram
I have installed EA's Origin and downloaded Sim City but cannot get it to run.
The game opens and just closes.
Has anyone else gotten it to work? If so, could you share the tricks you may have had to use?

I cannot find jack on the EA forums about it except the older model SP Pro
