with windows 10 Microsoft edge deployed and immediately it displayed a popup that I can not close warning you computer is infected call the number below to have the problem removed. McAfee show no virus but does not recognize malware. If I launch Safari, Firefox or chrome no issue. Go to MSN or Microsoft site browser closes and launches microsoft edge. If multiple new tabs are open malware pops up in each window, How do I remove the malware without paying $2500

I'm sorry you got hit with Ransomware.

However, Microsoft products, if downloaded from Microsoft do NOT contain Ransomware. If you downloaded files/programs from a 3rd party download site then that might be the entry vector.
