Enabling AWS on Ativ SE

Does anyone know how to enable AWS bands 1700 or 2400 on our Ativ SE phones? Is there a way to do this through a registry editor? Did Verizon 'hide' this (like the MMS settings). I've switched from Telus to Wind/Freedom mobility; I can't seem to get this phone to find their AWS 'home' network; it always wants to roam....; I've got 2 Ativ SE's; one running 8.1, the other Win 10.
I bought a Lumia 650 from the Microsoft store (because it was half price on sale - $99 CAD), and it works perfectly on Wind/Freedom. Great little phone for the price, but...the Ativ SE is still a much better phone; I can't let it go! I just can't get it to work on the Wind/Freedom network, even though when I type the IMEI number into their 'compatibility' search engine, and it says that my phones should work (it shows our phones as 'Galaxy' family phones). I found a video of some guy enabling AWS on a Samsung Note 2,and the inside of the phone looks just like our Ativ SE, but it's running Android; Any ideas?

You need access to field test which only works with a sim inside said phone. Field Test works with Lumias, but not sure about this phone. Try typing #3282## and tap call to see if that works.

Thanks for your suggestion; I tried this, but I get an error message: 'something happened; couldn't complete this action'....

Update: after digging around, I found that ## 33284 gets me in, but then I get stuck; I try all kinds of different codes, but nothing works; i'll keep trying....

AWS is Band 4 which the SE already supports. I've used this phone on T-Mobile many times. You don't need to do anything.

I need AWS frequency 1700 or 2400 (which I don't see on the Ativ SE specs sheet....) I'm trying to get this phone working on the Freedom/Wind network in Canada...
Ativ specs:
CDMA:
800, 1900 MHz
GSM:
850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
UMTS:
850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz
LTE (FDD):
Bands 13, 4

Thanks for the info; then i'm wondering why it won't work with the Freedom/Wind frequencies? It does not pick them up when I do a network scan. I just bought an Lumia 650, unlocked from the Microsoft store; great little phone, and it works perfectly with Freedom's network. For some reason, I can't get either of my Ativ SE's to work (one is running 8.1, the other Win 10). Both do not 'see' Freedom's signal (they just see Bell, Rogers, and Telus). Freedom does not have LTE (only 4G). Would that be the difference?

If your carrier doesn't have LTE you're not going to get LTE speed. You're only going to get HSPA if their UMTS bands are supported.

I've got a registry editor. Do you know the path to changing the radio frequency? Can this be changed, or is it 'fixed' into the hardware of the phone?

Nah, that's built into the silicon.

Oh no!!! I've been searching through all of the different hives and registry values trying to find something to change the frequency....Ahhhhhhh...this is such a great phone. What a shame I can't use it anymore!
