Hi all,
I have a Lumia 1520 with 8.1 Developer Preview installed. Prior to the update I got well over 2 days of battery life. Upon update I had quite poor battery life (less than 18 hours), so as you'd expect I did a hard reset which did improve matters somewhat.and I would get 1 day 5 hours or so. Not perfect, but it didn't heat up much so I was happy.
Then came the most recent update, which was supposed to improve matters. Unfortunately for me, it made it worse and I went back to awful battery life. So, as you'd expect I did another hard reset! All seemed to be going swimmingly, giving me estimated battery life of 1 day 15 hours. Sucess! Or so I thought.
So recently it has been showing 12/13 hours of estimated battery life DESPITE saying the battery was draining at 1.5% an hour. Now I'm not Einstein but 100 divided by 1.5 is not 13 as far as I am aware. Soft resets have done nothing and I'm not really keen on doing yet another hard reset.
Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this or how to remedy it? If not I will just have to do yet another hard reset
I guess the moral of the story is be happy with what you have instead of wanting more! Sorry about the essay!
Cheers.
