Exchange/Push Issues

I was wondering if anyone who is using exchange is having any issues. When I am on WIFI I don't seem to have an issue. When I am on data I won't always get emails instantly. Sometimes I have to force the sync and other times I will get a bunch of messages all at one time that actually came in at different times. The problem also seems to happen with my outlook account but I don't get as many emails there so I am not 100 percent sure on that. is it possible that the data connection is going into idle.

I am on an unlocked 8X on Telus. I was using Windows phone 7.5 before and never had an issue with push email.

Exchange 2010 on my Lumia 820 worked perfectly. I never had any problems on WiFi or cellular.
