touchpad "jumpy;

the touchpad on our SP4 works great on battery or plugged in OUTSIDE our home....virtually anywhere...when used in our home the touchpad is "jumpy" and you cannot control it. This just began a few weeks ago. We have cleaned the contracts etc...but as I said it works perfectly in other building. Thoughts?
