Exes stop executing after a while

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 11S, and my OS is Windows 10. After using it for some time, suddenly all the executables (exes) stop working. Even the windows commands like reboot, task manager etc. dont start at all. The Windows menu continues to function, but on clicking the buttons nothing happens. The only thing i can do is a hard reboot. After the reboot, the problems go away for some time, and then reappear again.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for letting me know. what do you do for now to resolve the issue? Hard reboot?

I downloaded latest win 10 pro to a USB, made USB bootable device in bios and booted, then did a reset. I had stuff backed up already and repair operation didn't work. So far so good. Got everything put back on and everything seems to be working. Took a couple of days to get the 20,000 photos and videos back on.

I was afraid it wouldn't have a license, but it figured that out ok. Hope that helps you.
