External hard drive connected to 950xl via display dock

Hadn't really thought of it before, but I have some music stored on an external hard drive, ( WD passport), that I wanted to move over to the sd card in my 950xl.

To my surprise, not only did the drive connect using the display dock, the transfer was quite speedy!

I'm on OS 242, firmware 38

Obviously I am very impressed!

I too was very impressed that I could connect my NTFS formatted external HDD to my L950 via the Display dock and it would also play large MKV's, as well as move files back and forth without issues.

I'm trying to connect my WD 2 TB to the display dock in my 950xl but it doesn't connect or recognize it, can you help me? is there any pre setups or something?

I was able to move photos. Unfortunately they don't show up in the photos app, but if I use file explorer I can see them and swipe through them once one is open.
