Facebook app update

So, I received an update for the facebook app version 8.3.9.0. But after I finished installing the update, everything is still the same from what it was before. I tried uninstalling the app and installing it again but still. Does anyone have the same problem? And how could I fix this? Or maybe the update is a hoax. I hope it's not though.

It's probably just some performance and bug fixes.. Why would you expect anything to be different?

Because the photo of the updated facebook is kinda new on the store so I thought that the news feed will change and better
