Facebook Message notifications coming through for the first time in months

Hello, I'm receiving Facebook message notifications (toast and tile) for pretty much the first time since I got my phone (January this year!)

Still very shaky, for example comments on posts still aren't coming through but messages is the one i'm most after for working..

Could this be the start of the "improvements" we have been promised?

I just posted pictures from the weekend yesterday and since, I think I got 5 notifications. None of them had a toast notification, and not once did it show up on my lock screen or live tile.

Yeah, I've noticed. What's more, they are usually only about 15 minutes late. It's a huge improvement; not that it couldn't be better though.
