why doesn't the facebook mobile site have the new timeline on WP7?
Android, BlackBerry and iOS has it!! :/

When you visit facebook on IE on WP7 you only have access to the old facebook mobile version!

Why?????

Is your browser setup for mobile version or desktop version? Go to IE settings and try desktop version.

Probably because Facebook is lazy and devotes too little resources to developing for WP7

Desktop version is ususable on a phone. Timeline has a Mobile Version, just like the Facebook App has a mobile version (Touch.Facebook.com) which doesn't work in IE9 mobile.

The issue is that it's optimized for WebKit Browsers, which have like 90% mobile browser marketshare combined. IE9 is not one of those, and neither is [for example] Opera Mobile.

The Desktop Site shuld work, but it's a terrible user experience on a phone especially when you're limited to a WVGA resolution screen.

Microsoft had the choice to use WebKit, which would have made their mobile browser instantly compatible with everything. They didn't and instead introduced yet another mobile browser to target. It is not Facebook's fault.

What's your point? Perhaps IE9 is superior to Webkit.

Anyone having trouble staying logged in to the Facebook Mobile site? Seems like everytime I switch from WiFi to cell signal (or the other way around), I get logged out! Very frustrating.
