HI, My device is on TH2 SW, and factory reset, and Sign in MSFT account during OOBE, but stuck at "checking account info..." screen, hard reboot device, still failed.

Do you have any idea for MSFT account sign in during OOBE? any limitation?

BTW, as I know the MSFT account workflow during this process is "Sign in MSFT account,Find my backup, backup points listed, restore...".

you are right thats the right path, maybe you should check your internet connection whether it is working , or if you are on a wifi get closer to it for a stronger signal .

"checking account info..."

Getting stuck on this screen strongly signals a poor internet connection. are you able to go past this if you skip signing in to Microsoft account ? You can sign in to the account afterwards as well.

Hey, did some research, looks once my MSFT account is on RS1 SW, and then use another TH2 SW device, MSFT account is not backward compatible...
in short, MSFT account cannot restore to TH2 SW,which is updated to RS1 SW

don't try to restore then, just set up afresh
