Fallout 4 ships 12 million copies to retailers, game 'generating record sales'

It's not exactly a shock to learn that publisher Bethesda Softworks shipped a lot of copies of its long-awaited post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 4 to retailers. The company said that it has shipped 12 million copies of the game, which launched for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC earlier this week, and since then it has been "generating record sales at retail outlets and via digital download".
