FB contacts have mostly disappeared from my People list.

Not sure if this is 8.1 related for sure, but I didn't notice it until after the update. One thing that I've always hated about the phone app is that when you search through your contacts via that, it shows everybody in your phone, whether you have a phone number for them or not. It was basically a duplicate of your People hub. When searching through today, I noticed that it only showed contacts with phone #'s. Then I noticed there were only about 4 or 5 contacts listed under each letter. I opened the People tile and noticed the same thing. My contact list went from about 500 (syncing with FB) to about 50. In fact, people for which I had Outlook contact info for also are missing. Is there a way to force a Facebook sync? Not sure what happened here, but it's chaos.

Open the Facebook app, settings, connect with my phone, then it should be an option for manual

For the record, I have FB set to not run in the background, but that's how I've always had it. Don't think that should have any effect.

Try allowing it to run in the background for a day?

Great suggestion, but it didn't re-populate. How weird. I have no idea how it chose the lucky few to remain in my phone. Seems quite random.

I guess I will leave it running in the background and see what happens. Seems to be quite the battery drain however.
