How to save 💾 or can we save 💾 the attachment files (except *.jpeg) like pdf or any other office file into sd card?

THANKS FOR THE REPLY N_LaURE. BUT MY QUESTION IS DIFFERENT. IF YOU SEE THIS PICS YOU WILL GET THE IDEA. I HAVE DOWNLOADED FILES IN EMAIL BUT WHEN I AM TRYING TO SAVE I CANT DO THAT.BOTH SAVE AND CANCEL DOWNLOAD OPTIONS ARE INACTIVE. AND THE "FILE" PROGRAM IS USEFULL WHEN TO ATTACH THE FILE TO THE MAIL WHICH HAVE TO BE SEND.

Tap the file and it will open in the program.

For Office documents it will automatically save them to your phone in the Office Hub (Document Folder) you can then use Files to move it to your SD card. I'm unsure if you can open from SD card or not as my phone doesn't have a SD Card.

With PDFs it's the same thing. Tap to open, but like I said in an earlier post you cannot use the file effectively if you use Adobe PDF. If you use MS PDF you can then save to OneDrive and then from there to your phone.

once again thanks for the reply N_LaRUE. i have done as u said. i tap the file and it opened in program. in my case office documents can be seen in office program under email place. but i am not able to find these documents in File program under Document folder (Both document folder in phone and sd card too) as u mention it. only those files are available in this folder which i have manually transferd into it

OK, last bit of information. It's been a while since I messed with this. I simply don't use Office Mobile because I have little need to lately.

When you open the Office file you tap the three dots ... then tap 'save as', then tap 'Save to' you can select Phone and possibly SD card if my memory serves me correctly.

Then you'll be able see those files on your phone. Not entirely sure if the PDFs will be the same.

got it thanx once again. i found something different (may be for me only)if you download any file(including pdf) from any specific site or from ur mail using IE it will directly save to the download folder.(then what is the use of giving option email+account in setting as u cant save file directly )
