Find my phone on Lumia 950XL - push notification

I'm resident in the UK and use a Lumia 950XL. I executed find my phone via my Windows account and nothing was returned. Later checked that WiFi or 4G was not activated on the phone.

Can I use Find my Phone without having WiFi or 4G enabled?

I can't find a push notification option within my Lumia settings.

I am not sure, but there is an option to ring the device, can you use that? Havent tried it myself.

I could be wrong but I think the OP knows where the phone is. I think he wants to know how to make find my phone work if he ever needs it.

Without some form of data connection all you can do is locate the phone via GPS which, on its own, isn't very accurate.

U cannot use find my phone or anything related to remote locking, ringing etc. without a data connection. It is simply NOT possible!
