Unlimited sprint, just because others do it doesn't mean it's right for Halo. Unlimited sprint was just a catalyst for run-and-gun style of play, which takes away from team tactics and communication. It sucks. There's always some d-bag on the team that takes off into the void trying to be hero with no regard to "team." Unlimited sprint just compounds this problem.

Halo 2 and 3 are undoubtedly has the best multiplayer of all the franchise and it worked splendidly without sprinting. For example, I remember the days of playing on maps like Ascension where coordinating with the team for sniper support was important when taking the catwalk between the command tower and landing pad. If unlimited sprinting were allowed there would be much less emphasis on teamwork.
