Is any one getting extremely high numbers of flights of stairs climbed?? This Band 2 is showing 60 to 140 flights of stairs climbed a day and I have not climbed a flight of stairs in years I live in Fl all single story homes and I am 70yrs old very rarely I go to the mall and use an escalator. Hope others are having this problem may be we can get it fixed in a software update.

MS Band is not so accurate about the floors climbed but in situation you describe it is odd. For example I climb about 4 floors a day but is shows about 15 0r 16, because I use elevator in my office building and my band gets, confused.

In your case I think you should go check io tout at MS store

I've noticed it picks up driving slowly up hills as climbing stairs sometimes, frequently showing 50+ stairs climbed in a day which is wildly inaccurate for me..

This is highly inaccurate, my fitbit use to be very accurate showing 1 flight for every 20' of elevation which worked all the time never was showing more than climbed

This might be more of a device-by-device case rather than a widespread issue. It also may be caused by unique operating circumstances some users experience (exposure to higher winds, for instance). Some users have reported on forums here that blowing into the barometer opening can cause inaccurate floor climb counts.

I get the same about double what I actually do UK terraced house stairs mainly
Im starting to believe it counts going down stairs too hehe (ill have to check that)

Apparently I climbed 863 flights of stairs in a week lol. Going for a run in the flattest road you can imagine for about an hour it counts some 100 floors climbed give or take a few.

Guess I am not the only one with this problem, may be now Microsoft will take a close look at this problem and address it :amaze:

interesting problems with everyone. guess ive been lucky. been up and down elevators and driving in hills lately and only when im actually going up stairs it counts. do you guys have the latest firmware update? if not connect the band to the band program on PC and get it done i was having problems a few firmwares ago doing that. not sure if the Microsoft Health app will update the band automatically on all platforms.
