Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer thinks that the company he used to lead needs some kind of direction when it comes to the mobile devices business. Ballmer expressed these views, and many more, in a new interview.

This Ballmer guy sounds like a genius! Too bad he wasn't running Microsoft a decade ago. Things might have turned out differently. Oh wait.....

Seriously, it reads like something from the Onion. I'll say this, though. It takes real chutzpah to have overseen the disaster that was Microsoft's response to the iPhone and then Android, and then, after leaving the company, publicly telling the new guy "Hey, you should do something about this."
