This was a much-needed change.
Forza Motorsport 7 has been caught up in somewhat of a controversy involving "prize crates" since launch. The loot boxes — which never went on sale for actual currency — offered cars and other advantages which could give certain players an edge. They were hugely unpopular and a cause of contention for gamers. Today, Turn 10 Studios announced that it's removing them from the game and that Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 4 will not feature "paid token" microtransactions as well.
