As of yesterday, Apple patched iOS and Mac OS X.
Microsoft released a patch for desktop versions of Windows today, but Windows phones are still vulnerable.
Android and all its fragmented variants are vulnerable.
And BlackBerry phones are vulnerable, which is ironic, considering BlackBerry has established its identity on being the best-in-class provider of privacy and security in its products.
My eyes have really been opened the past couple days to the advantages Apple has in being able to issue patches and bug fixes without going through carriers.
I currently use a BlackBerry Q10 as my daily driver. One of the reasons I chose BlackBerry was because of its security and privacy features. But how secure can you really be when you have to wait for your carrier to approve every little OS update?
Who knows how long it will before the rest of the major mobile platforms are able to get their patches out?
