Freeze after about 30-35 minutes

Maybe someone here can lend a hand. I installed the Technical preview and everything was fine. However after installing the most recent build (9860), I started having an odd issue that I can't seem to solve. After about 30-45 minutes the computer will start to degrade VERY rapidly in performance until it ultimately freezes. Power-cycling the machine allows it to run properly until the 30-45 minutes have passed. I've checked that the machine is set to never turn off the HDD and checked the new power-saving features, but still no dice.

Any suggestions?

The PC it's installed on is a Home Theater PC. Nothing fancy:
3rd generation Intel Core i3-3217U Processor (1.80GHz 1600MHz 3MB)
4.0GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz
Intel? HD Graphics 4000
500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive

Than you for the response. I did finally find my particular problem.

I left the PC froze for a while to see if it would attempt to come back. In doing so, at some point it threw up some Visual C errors related to Netgear's Genie software. I restarted the machine and turned off the Netgear Genie and all seems to be well. Not sure what changed between the initial tech preview and the 9860 build, but apparently it doesn't play well with my router's software.

Please report compatibility issue to both Microsoft and Netgear.

Please include your previously stated system specifications, screenshots of error, and error log from Event Viewer.
