From 820 to 720

Hi,

I've recently cracked my own 820 for some reason my hand hit the wall while I'm walking and it landed hard on the ground...
Picked it up and there it goes several lines on the screen which then leads to blackness the next day. ( I can turn on the phone but the screen didn't want to showed up).
So I've been eyeing for a 720. Heard about the great battery life and camera but the processor is ... meh. But I love the design except for the not removable battery which is kindda disappointing for me coming from 820. The thing is... 820 is kinda rare for me to get another one here except online which I can't afford to wait another week. Can't stand the android phone my girlfriend lend me. I saw one 720 recently which cost like $230 (the 525 here costs $190) which is a pretty an awesome deal.
So my worry is...
Is it worth the downgrade? I'm going to buy it in 2 days if I can't find any 820 anywhere retail.
I have a wireless charger and it would be a waste spending on a phone that doesn't support it so a wireless charging cap. is a must.

I love my black 720 and the battery life is indeed amazing. 2 days with average use is no problem. Don't forget that you have to purchase the wireless cover seperately and will set you back another $25-30....
And the Gorilla Glass 2 together with the weight (only 128 grams) make it a winner for me....

Is the battery life that amazing? Coming from a 820 (Terrible Batt. Life) especially after 8.1. I'm really tempted to get one now instead of fixing my 820.

I would personally prefer the 1 Gb ram and amoled screen of the 820 over the 720's battery life..... You can always buy a bigger battery for the 820.

what difference does it make anyway?? the overall specs are better and within the price range of 720.

I did mentioned I have a wireless charger and neglecting it for now is a bit of a waste for me..... I don't like seeing things left unused visibly on my table. I know the 1320 is a great device, one of the best of all if terms of pricing. But having wireless charging is quite important to me too. And I hate wires.

If I have to buy a phone now, I'll go for a 1gb ram variant. Apps availability and overall performance are more important for me than any other features. Try to look harder for the 820. It is the best model right now (from last years batch) with wp8.1, otherwise, I suggest you take a hard look on the newer models so you won't regret later on.

Bought the 720 already and it was dead cheap. I think I'm going to buy the digitizer for the 820 and fixed it. In the end, I think I spend quite way cheaper than I should have if I went to the Nokia store to buy one 820 or fixed it either way. The 820 costs like 500 bucks here so I heard the fixing price of the screen is half of it 😐
