Seems very much like a hybrid OS, designed to run on both phones and desktops. Could be google has a windows 10 competitor in the works.
Equally rumours continue about an apple AR project, likely a HoloLens competitor. ANd MS works on its home hub, and speaker device.
It's totally game time over the next few years, as the tech world tries to reach beyond the smartphone.
