Samsungs new flagship. Same features of the Note 4, the outer body is metal with a chamfered edge. The display is curved with a nose-bleeding Quad HD, 2560 x 1440 resolution. S Pen, removable battery, latest quad-core cpu.
Correct me if I'm mistaken but I don't understand all the splash in the media about a function where sliding over the small screen on the right hand side will force the clock to pop up. If that is considered to be an innovation, Windows Phone with its glance screen would be well ahead of the curve...
As for the original purpose of the second screeen I'm not sure whether this is something useful or not. Time will tell.
Also the edge also serves as a GLANCE screen which can display time and notifications....
It can also do more but that is dependent upon the Devs whether they use the SDKs
Honestly I don't understand the purpose of it. Plus it would have been intuitive to use on screen keys and give this edge on the bottom of the screen rather than on the side. But that is just my opinion.
I don't see it selling very well, but kudos to Samsung for trying out funky designs like this, the Round, etc.
Personally, I think I could actually enjoy using this phone and that edge (esp the night clock thing), well, except for the right-handedness-centricity.
