[GAME] Find The Place

Hi,

I'd like to shortly present the result of my work the last 2 weeks.
It's a game called "Find The Place" showing a picture of a more or less famous place of the earth and you have to put a marker on the map where you think the place is.

After resolving, you have access to Wikipedia-links to the corresponding locations. You also can play with you own, geotagged pictures.

More levels/categories and online highscores will come in future updates.

So is the point of the game to see how close you can get at guessing? What exactly is the reason for Wiki? Guess I just don't understand...

Yes, you can test your knowledge of the world (its sights, nature wonders, capitals,...). The closer (and faster) you can place the marker to the actual place, the more points you will get. You have to score a certain amount of points per level (a level consists of 10 places) to unlock the next level.

The wikipedia link is for further information if the place aroused your interest and you want to know more about the place, so you can see it as educational game as well

Okay I got ya. This could be nice for adults and kids. I would push it toward kids though. I think that is a market in WP that needs more good apps!

First update available now.
Added another 180 places which makes 500 places in 5 categories in total now.
Also added Online-Highscores so you can compare with other players.
