A few weeks ago, reports emerged that Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin was working with Japanese developer FromSoftware on a new open-world game. While these reports were unverified, Martin himself later confirmed that he had consulted on the development of a game with a Japanese studio. Immediately after that announcement, a number of outlets published alleged details about the project. According to
GamesRadar+, the collaboration between the two won't be set in the world of Game of Thrones, but will instead focus on Norse mythology like the new God of War. The outlet added that the game is called "Great Rune."
