Gamers regret?

I love my new WP8 phone. I have had it for 4 ish months and feel it was the right choice over my android.

However one thing I find I consistently miss is the amount of multiplayer games, that were simple to just pick up and play with people. Or could play for hours. Grant it the graphics were generally basic at absolute best. And the graphics on this phone are just simply amazing... Its just sometimes I miss my cheesey mmos... Like parallel kingdom / mafia or whatever that ripoff of ogame was. Anyone feel the same?

Not really, however I did have some buyer's remorse over the games during my first month of owning the 8x. However, that went away after Joe belefore started pushing out a new major app or game every day. Loving games like asphalt 7, temple run, gravity guy 2, etc.

Not in the slightest. In terms of gaming, I'm actually glad I left Android for Windows Phone 8. For starters, as a long-time Xbox LIVE user, I enjoy having Achievements available in many games. I also like the sort-of small-town atmosphere of the platform, as it means there is a greater dedication and notoriety for smaller developers, such as on these boards. I've had nice, in-depth conversations with a few indie devs here, which has led to my playing probably 10 times more games on Windows Phone than I ever did on Android. Oh, and Bing Rewards is the icing on the Xbox LIVE cake. It's awesome being able to get games like Skulls of the Shogun, Asphalt 7, and more free because I search with Bing and get Microsoft Store gift cards.

I do understand your frustration at the lack of variety. There are way too many Angry Bird-style puzzle games. That said, a couple of months ago I was more concerned than I am now.

Over the last few weeks has seen a deluge of good games and apps. Where initially I worried that we were looking at a neglected platform I'm now convinced we simply have to wait. The variety will come. That might not help in the short term, but I'd say that's a consequence of jumping onto a new platform.

The only genre I really am concerned about is bullet ****, and how dodonpachi is the only (good) bullet **** and it's not available for wp8
