Games and Apps sizes

Hello all,

I wanted to ask why does windows phone apps and games have larger size as compared to android or ios. On windows phone temple run 2 size is about 140 mb and on android its about 60-70mb, similarly angry birds size is over 100 though I don't know about size of angry birds on android, temple run 1 size is less on android than windows phone. Moreover windows phone also reserves other folder for apps resources etc?

I saw a video on BUILD 2014 that said XAP files(windows phone apps) must be downloaded with all language packs a data for every country. However APPX files(Windows Phone 8.1 apps) can be download the with the languages and data that are necessary for the users region. Something like that.

iOS tr2 size is around 133MB
