Gateway computer power off w/o notice after upgrade to Windows 10

Desktop powers down after I upgraded to Windows 10. Did not happen with Windows 7

it doesn't restart on it's own? Did the upgrade complete or is it stuck on that?

Is your computer set to turn off or go to sleep after XX hours? Check your power settings.
