It may be free-to-play, but that never guarantees people will actually play it. The Coalition's studio head Rod Fergusson took to Twitter to thank the community for an impressive first week as the game surpassed 1 million players on iOS and Android. With Gears 5 releasing soon, it's no wonder that people want as much Gears content as possible leasing up to its launch.
