Groove Music does not play music in the background. If you minimize it, the audio fades away. There's not even an option to turn this off. For me, at least, this makes Groove almost unusable. I'm on Build 10547 (just now finished setting up). I can't switch desktops and have my music keep playing anymore. I am disappointed (that's an understatement).

Simply pitiful...if not all fixed soon, and on the mobile front too, I'm switching

I'm certain this is a recent addition, am I right? I can't possibly believe I've missed it since I've been using Windows 10 and therefore Groove for months and months now (Windows 10 longer than Groove of course). I update and suddenly I'm having issues? Suspicious.
It's just unacceptable. I need to be able to switch between desktops and... need I say more?

I agree. They've addressed some bugs in Groove Mobile such as weird songs from Apps appearing in song list AND the ever annoying sync problem with OneDrive. I love seeing my playlists and music on mobile! However, I *JUST* noticed I can't switch desktops without interrupting Groove playback OR minimize it. This must be a bug. I'm an avid Microsoft fan but this makes the app pretty useless to me especially if its on purpose. I'm sure it's not, so I'm not too stressed out about it.
