General Icon Help -- please advise!

Hi folks,

Currently using an Icon on T-Mobile. Experiencing a few issues:

1. Phone gets hot more often than not. Looking at battery saver, it says that 'phone' is eating up the battery, though i rarely have made calls.
2. Power button is sometimes delayed.

I've tried looking over multiple threads, and I've noticed that both issues are common, but the remedies are very hit or miss. I've tried hard resetting the phone twice, and I even reverted back to WP8 and then updated back to 8.1.

Is there anyone who's using an Icon on T-Mobile that could help steer me in the right direction to get the first issue resolved? I don't mind the power button thing as much.

Both are issues with the 8.1 preview. Even with simple tasks my Icon would get hotter on 8.1 than in 8.0. You will need to wait for the official release of 8.1 which will include the Nokia Lumia Cyan firmware, which is expected by the end of the month, if Verizon pushes it out quickly.
