Get a share link?

Is there not a simple way to grab a URL link from a photo stored in Onedrive? As it stands, I have to hit share, then Outlook, then copy the link there.

I thought it was simply Share -> Outlook (or whatever email or sharing is available) and that was it.

How much easier can it be? Not sure what else can be done to make it easier. Suggestions?

Its just a clunky way of getting a URL. To post a link here for example, that is the process i go through. Under the share button, there should just be a "get link".
