I kinda feel bad about it, but I laughed when I read that only 1GB + devices will get GIF support. (for those who don't know, GIF support in the photos app is a new feature of W10 build 10149)

I know it's a sought after feature. Some people really need it. Even I needed it quite a few times. Was wondering why the heck don't we have it. But it's here now, a little late, but still here.
I also don't understand why, since it's not a resource heavy feature. It's a moving picture. It's way less demanding than video, and yet every phone can play videos, but only 1GB+ can access GIFs. But I also hope people moved on from 512MB phones. They are really outdated. Even the low-end and entry level phones have it now.

I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I will.

Read about this last night. I usually skip all gifs, but now I have a reason to save them (9gag here I come xd)

Bruh...... I know...... might shoot them a mail, hope they respond

I did, long ago, and asking about some lack of basic feature and UWP as well but no response... It's just updated around 2 weeks ago with in line GIF, which is nice.

Which is right around the time I downloaded it again :D I previously just used the browser, because of the lack of updates...

I don't save that much GIFs but I do "make" them with Cinemagraph. And it was really stupid that you could not view what you made. You had to eather open it from the camera, or from the Cinemagraph itself. This is a step in the right direction.

Might try that. Any pro tips? :D

The cinemagraph app?
Weird that you haven't already. It's great.

Tips? IDK. You'll figure it out all by yourself easy, but the main part is finding interesting stuf to film. Let your creativity loose. :)
