Glance Screen Background photo

How can you add a background picture to Glance screen? I can't seem to find it, and am wondering did they remove this feature? Thanks for all the help.

I believe it is no longer a thing in Windows 10 Mobile. :/

Your " look screen" background is the picture for glance screen as well.

That's annoying. Hopefully they add it back in the upcoming insider preview builds. Do you know the reason why the feature was taken away?

I have it on my Lumia 950 XL, but my mom doesn't on her 640. It must be hardware-dependent.

Under Personalization - Glance, you don't see "Show lock screen background picture?"

Its there on my 950XL. I don't want it but just tested it to make sure it worked. I can see the option being phone specific depending on the amount of power it takes vs screen type, battery size, etc.. They may not want an option that would make battery life too short. Owners might not realize why they have bad battery life or even if they did, feel they were tricked into thinking the phone had a useful glance background. I dunno.

Glance Screen drains battery(maybe a few%).

If you really miss that feature in your mobile, then try 'Dock Clock' .

There are two versions of the Glance screen. 'Full Glance' and 'Glance Lite'. Glance Lite misses a few extra options, such as the lock screen background.

Glance Lite misses a few extra options, such as the lock screen background.

Can you tell what else is missing in Glance lite? Because after updating the phone I can't find where to turn off the date anymore. That's really annoying because I don't wanna see the date I only need clock
