The 20th edition of Commonwealth Games begins today at Glasgow.

For the Americans, Commonwealth Games is the world's fourth largest multi-sport event. More info on the event here > Commonwealth Games - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Games this time has an official Windows Phone app. The app is not following the Modern design guidelines though. But probably this is the first major multi-sport event releasing an official Windows Phone app.

Thanks for pointing out this app. Look forward to installing it. However, I believe there were official apps for both the 2014 Sochi Winter Games and the 2012 London Summer Games.

That really looks nice and clean app. Nice that such events have their official apps on WP platform well in time.
