I am looking for a good, high end 15.6 inch laptop right now. Unfortunately my choices are quite limited.
HP - I have used many of their laptops and I don't trust them anymore. The quality control can be very bad.
Acer - Terrible build quality. Have one right now and the screen is giving me all sorts of issues, and this one is relatively new.
ASUS - Ultrabooks are usually underpowered, the other alternative is big, heavy gaming laptops which I don't want right now.
Dell - Good quality, good laptops. but for some unknown logic they don't put number pads on their higher end 15 inch laptops. They have number pads on low end ones but remove them from the high end. What the heck? Why would they remove functionality from higher end laptops? I need a full sized keyboard to work efficiently.
That pretty much leaves me with Lenovo. I am probably going to get a Thinkpad, but they've been having a bad streak recently.
Any recommendations?
