Good checkbook app?

Driving me crazy. I've tried several apps so far and none of them fit.

I just want something that can replace my checkbook register, with ability to set recurring transactions and to clear reconciled transactions.

I don't want fancy budget this or that, and I don't want it to connect to my financial institutions.

Any recommendations? I'm on WP8 if that makes a difference..

Maybe checkout Checkbook Metro, overall seems rated highly and seems to fit your criteria. (I haven't used it to be honest) Nice Metro/Modern UI look and live tile as well.
