Well, we have a thread for almost everything, I figure we might as well have a thread just celebrating good things that have happened to us recently!

On Friday, a friend unexpectedly gave me a $650 retail jacket that she bought on clearance at her work for $15. I was so excited when she came by that my brain stopped working and I forgot that I put my mail down on the back bumper of my car when she arrived. I subsequently drove to run errands and decided to pay forward my good fortune on the jacket by retrieving an extra shopping cart from the parking lot and returning it to the store. As a result, it made me walk by the back bumper of my car, where I saw the mail that miraculously had survived the five-mile drive without blowing off. Upon closer examination, I saw that one of the pieces of mail included a replacement credit card that could have fallen into the wrong hands had mother nature put the mail into flight. All in all, an exceptionally good day.

Ha! I woke up a couple of days ago.. To snow! I wasn't surprised (it's been cold for a long time), but it was a little weird seeing snow this time of the year..

Haha, we've gotten snow here as late as April too many times for my liking. But I'm thrilled we got none yesterday and today in spite of all the forecasters predicting it!
