Google calendar only syncs six months?

I just synced my google calendar to my Lumia 950 but it only shows my appointments for the next six months. Is there a way to fix this? And is it a Microsoft problem or a google problem?

I think this is an Outlook problem because if you use OneCalendar to view your Google calendars, you can the see the entire Google calendar. It's kinda lame that you have to download another app just to view your Google calendars beyond six months, but it does work. If anyone else has a better solution, I'd like to know as well.
