Groove offline music on iphone 7 ios 11

[Windows Central Question]

I recently gave up on my Lumia 950 due to constant issues. Switched back to Iphone. Installed the One Drive and Groove apps expecting full downloads for offline viewing and listening. Unfortunately that did not happen automatically. With groove I must go album by album and it is very slow. When I try entire folders get offer of a premium service which I am not interested in and can not find any settings that effect this issue.

Can anyone tell me how to initiate this. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Perhaps create a playlist on a PC and add all your songs and then on the phone select make Offline on the playlist?

But it does take a while to download songs.

Groove for iOS will no longer work. So you have to move to iTunes now.
