Halo 2 for PC

Hello, I'm in need of some help, my halo 2 is stuck in a loop and it's annoying the hell out of me. I tried to change the resolution and it's just looping between a black screen and the desktop. Any idea on how to at least change the resolution without opening the game, or stop this annoying infinite loop.

Btw I'm on Windows 8.

Do you know if there is a config file somewhere in the installation directory or documents? Maybe you could try there. Is it possible to run it in compatibility mode?

I tried, nothing I've seen. And I have it in compatibility mode for windows vista.

Hah, I got it to work. I had to use a lower resolution.

Let down on the lower res, but at least you got it working

This brings up another thought, with Microsoft Hoping for more unification of games, wonder if Halo 3/4 will be on PC ever?

Works wonders on my windows 10 machine. Like the other guy said I hope they release the other halos on the pc.
