Halo Spartan: Assault - Sync Game data

Halo Spartan assault game data does not sync between by Surface Pro 4 and Lumia 640.

They are at two different save points. Even achievements show up twice when checking xbox app.

However, Halo Spartan Strike syncs perfectly between both devices. When i open the game the prompt comes up about downloading save data from xbox live etc etc. Spartan Assault does not give those prompts. Both devices show signed in with the same xbox live id.

I'm not sure what's happening but it's pretty annoying. Anyone got a fix?
