Hard reset Lumia 520.

I've updated to Lumia Black a month ago, but now thinking about a hard reset before Windows Phone 8.1. If I do a hard reset in my Lumia 520, will it delete the Lumia Black os update ?

My other storage is increasing day by day. Now it is 950mb..

Try removing some unwanted apps or games..
I wont suggest you to hard reset your phone.

A hard reset does not roll back firmware or OS updates. Remember to update your system apps after a hard reset.

The only way to do that would be to flash an older package to the phone.

BTW Black is a firmware and Nokia specific app/settings package.

The OS update that goes along with it is called GDR3.

I wont suggest you to hard reset your phone.

Unwanted apps only increases the free space but it doesn't clear the other storage......

Do you have any podcasts, audiobooks, ebooks, or things of that nature on the phone?

If so those will usually show up in 'other'.
