Hard reset.?

Hello there.
I'm a newbie here. I'll get straight to the point. My 920 has been real laggy these days.
Menu acts weird at times, apps close randomly and the experience hasn't been good.
Then there's the battery. My phone always has had a ridiculous battery life. Been 6-7 months since I've been using it but I always thought the 920 has a poor battery. I barely get more than an hour under continuous usage. I've read elsewhere that such problems are often fixed by doing a hard reset.
Will it.? Also, will I have to buy the apps all over again.? Is it true that even app data gets lost.?

I don't know if a hard reset will fix your issues.
But I can tell you that you don't have to buy again your purchased apps (you can download them again for free). In the store, you will have to click on the buy button, but checking for your past puchases the store will not charge you again.
And yes, you will lose the app data.

I'm guessing I won't loose data for Xbox games.?

You won't loose achievements but Game data will be lost !
