Has anyone daisy chained two monitors successfully?

I tried to get to work two Dell P2415Q 4k screens via daisy chaining. This ended up in absolutely zero success. I tried connecting the daisy chained monitors to the dock and to the surface directly. I was able to achieve a mirrored output. However, as soon as I set MST Primary and Secondary for the respective monitors, they could not detect a signal. I have never dealt with MST before. Is there something that needs to be enabled on the Surface Book side?

Per a document from Microsoft itself, the Surface Book should at a minimum via its native mDP port support two 4k monitors at 30hz daisy chained. Needless to say that it does not appear to work at this point in time.

I can't post links, if interested google: "Microsoft surface book dual monitors" and you should find the document: "Connect Surface to a TV, monitor, or projector"

I have a couple of 1920x1080 monitors working just fine daisy chained. I've noticed that there has been issues with the Dell Monitors themselves occasionally and being detected by Windows (7 & 10 in testing).
