Has anyone figured out how to use WP7 with PhoneZoo?

It's a ringtone site (think YouTube for ringtones) where users upload stuff. You find one you like, click "send to my phone" and you get a text message with a download link. On other phones, you click that link, and the download begins. On WP7, you click the link, and IE opens up and asks if you want to play the file.

Is IE restricted from downloading MP3's?

It's probably more of a WP platform restriction than IE.

I used to use PhoneZoo a lot back in the day. It's great for folks that can't or don't have time make their own ringtones.

Turns out you can just save it to PC, then sync via Zune. Sweet!

I didn't see a place on their web site to save a ringtone to my PC.

Just checked it out. Very nice and no registration or anything needed. I downloaded the files, changed the genre to RINGTONE and copied it to my phone.

go download the Free Music app in the marketplace, open that app up and theres a browser within the app. Download the ringtone u want in the browser in the application and u can save it and apply it as a ringtone without using zune it works on phonezoo.com zedge.net (or whatever that site is) and myxer ive tested it on zedge myself

A very simple way for you to have ringtones on phonezoo:
1. Install easyRing app
2. Us easyRing to navigate to Phonezoo - Top ringtones
3. Search and download whatever ringtone you want
