Has my Windows update broken my laptop?

Windows update broke my laptop :'(

Ok so my laptop updated when I booted it, brand new laptop btw only had it for a week.

It gets to 100% then tells me "we couldn't complete the updates, undoing changes"

Now it's stuck on that 24/7, no matter what I do. I restart it by holding the power button. It reboots and the same damned message!

I can't even go into safe mode! tried that shift f8, no dice

what the hell WINDOWS!?

If this somehow gets fixed I'm never updating again :crying:

Not sure if you realized this, but you posted in the Windows PHONE 8.1 part of the forum. You might get better responses in the Windows 8.1 forums.
